Nice to hear from you :) ah yes, I see...Hey Thalie! Nice to hear from you :) ah yes, I see you have noticed my weakness for desserts and all. you know what, I would so love to try your tiramisu! I'm still quite the amateur when it comes to tiramisu. It can be tricky at times. yes the second one looks better but I think the first one tasted better. I didn't add enough liquer for the second one. Just curious, you use marsala/rum/brandy etc? what do you use for your tiramisu?

So I guess tiramisu is your signature dish? What else do you bake ever so often? Yea, Singapore is a lovely place with so much to offer! you should come visit some day. I want to visit france too. haha tried learning french before, and boy was it tough. I guess you need to practise it or you'll lose it.

p.s. email me? i'd love to know more about your tiramisu and france!the bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16808684830127902541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12116964.post-1136813627803117752006-01-09T21:33:00.000+08:002006-01-09T21:33:00.000+08:00Hi !After all this long long hours wandering on yo...Hi !
After all this long long hours wandering on your blog an deven sometimes stealing some recipes... yes ! I finally decide to post a comment...
It really is a pleasure to watch an dread your appetite for desserts and good things and you seem to be really really open-minded, I like that !
I chose to post on this subject because for my family, friends and even all the italians I know 'round the house my fiancé has over there, I make the best Tiramisu they have ever eaten...
I know, it sound s a bit pretentious, sorry! But it's their word not mine...
Anyway; to be sincere, this second attempt of Tiramisu looks much much better to me than the first one. But I wasn't there to taste it !! ;)
Maybe once will we be able to compare our piece of art ;)for you seemed to live in a wonderful place.
Sincerely yours.
Thalie (France)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12116964.post-1136720702638952382006-01-08T19:45:00.000+08:002006-01-08T19:45:00.000+08:00J: Thanks! let me know if you come across any nota...J: Thanks! let me know if you come across any notable recipe yes? :)

Kat: glad you enjoy reading my blog :) the cookies can keep for at least 2 to 3 weeks I'd figure. Though I doubt they'll last till then!

Nicholas: yea it's definitely subjective, but i'm bent on getting it right. haha. hmmm I've never tried the one at Senso, but so far, in my opinion (at least to what my tastebuds have declared), Enotria has the best tiramisu I've eaten. But now you're making me curious about the one at Senso - I guess I'll have to try it myself eh? Amaretto? Interesting! Call me 'sua ku' but I didn't know that there were so many ways to make tiramisu. or maybe i've just been plain ignorant all this while!

james: haha, that sounds like a fun concoction! just too bad I don't have any in my home right now. maybe you'd like to donate? :p

Nic: yea, it'll be a fun project I figure... and my parents would def. scream if they found out how many eggs I've been using!the bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16808684830127902541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12116964.post-1136698241016439302006-01-08T13:30:00.000+08:002006-01-08T13:30:00.000+08:00Great shot!
